EICAR, The International Film & Television School, Paris
ON DECEMBER THE 10TH, AT THE CINÉMATHÈQUE FRANÇAISE, EICAR – THE INTERNATIONAL FILM AND TELEVISION SCHOOL OF PARIS, PRESENTED THE BEST FILMS BY BACHELOR AND MASTER OF FINE ARTS STUDENTS.
Presided by actress Charlotte RAMPLING, the jury comprised of director Randa HAINES, composer Christian GAUBERT, actor Eric EBOUANEY, producer Xavier CASTANO, director of photography Gordon SPOONER, director and actor Gustave KERVERN, writer Jean-Claude LAMY and editor Ariane BOEGLIN.
The jury awarded the following prizes:
Best Student Film (The Albert R. Broccoli Award, endowed with 1 000 €) was awarded to Filipa RUIZ (MFA2 2011-12) for the film As the Days Went By.
Best Cinematography was awarded to Joel SAN JUAN (MFA1 2011-12) for the cinematography of As the Days Went By by Filipa RUIZ (MFA2 2011-12), Faithless by Antonio CELOTTO (BFA3 2011-12) and Death of a Tune by Vinayak RADHAKRISHNAN (MFA1 2011-12)
Best Editing was awarded to Rachel BRENNAN for the film Nightwatch by Nicolaï BELCE-KENNEDY (MFA2 2011-12)
Best Artistic Direction was awarded to Just-Aurèle MEISSONNIER for the film Dice by Christophe DUCRUET (BFA2 2011-12)
Best Sound was awarded to Jérémy BOISSEAU for the film Faithless by Antonio CELOTTO (BFA3 2011-12)
Special Mention was awarded to the film Une cadence rompue by Juliette SWIERCZEWSKI (BFA3 2011-12)
